I - Images and their usage

1. How large may uploaded/ submitted images be?
Please keep the physical size at 1200 pixels maximum in any dimension. File size is 300 kB and may not exceed 400 kB maximum.
Exceptions may be bigger, for example, a scan with lots of details which will be lost at compression to smaller image. But huge uploads should not be the rule!
I reserve the right to delete any exceedingly large images in the albums, but I will of course inform the responsible artist.
We do not have unlimited disc space on our server so it is in the best interest of everyone to stick to the limits mentioned.

II - Membership

1. I would like to become a member. What do I have to do?
First, please read these guidelines and then go to this application form. Then fill in the form and send this back to the responsible Administrator (in this case Kim). Please add two pictures (if you want to apply as artist) or one text (if you want to apply as author). The images may be sent in as .jpg, .gif or .png, but should not exceed 1200 pixels in any dimension. Texts will be accepted as .doc, .txt and .html.
And further questions will be answered directly by mail.

III - About the RPG ENGEL

1. Why are those angels tattooed with these weird patterns?
The tattoos are an integral part of the rpg to which this gallery is dedicated. The divine symbols and lines  begin as the Signum on the bodies of the Engel newly descended from Heaven. During the Engel's "career" on earth it will be expanded with Sigil and Scriptura until the Engel has reached its full potential.
Each of the eight Angelic Orders has its own pattern and set of symbols, centered at different parts of the body. You can view the tattoo schematics in the Download-Album to get an impression of their complexity.

IV - About the Feder-Galerie

1. What do these weird birds do on the pages?
The three parakeets are Kim's (Chief-Administrator) own feathered pests. Shora, the red one is a crimson rosella. The yellow-brownish cockatiel female is named Perlchen and the white and yellow male fellow Sally. The Feder-Galerie originally took its name from Sally's feather which is still in use to date. When the gallery was founded it had nothing to do with ENGEL first.
The three bird icons are linked to specific help pages and our sitemap. Additionally, they highlight three of the four segments of the gallery.

2. Did you draw all the pictures on this side yourself?
Yes. Each of the artists presented here adds his or own personal creations to the gallery. We set great value on the fact that the works presented here are the personal property of the responsible artist, regardless if they are created with traditional media, rendered digitally, or created otherwise.

3. I really like that image. May I put it on my own homepage?
We do ask you to respect the personal works and property of our artists. So please ask the artist in question to receive permission to display his or her art work. The mail addresses of our artists and authors can be found on the artists' profiles. The Administrators and Moderators cannot approve or prohibit such use in the name of any artist or author.
This decision is up to the individual artist or author.

4. Can you draw an image of my character?
You should ask an individual artist whose style suits you about this through email. Some artists will do commissioned work, others won't.
Simply ask  - we won't bite *g*
